Medical Assistant (MA) Ophthalmology Clinic
Medical Assitant (MA) Outpatient Ophthalmology Clinic Nursefinders is currently recruiting for a prestigious Acute Care Hospital located in Los Angeles. Standard hours are 8:30am-5pm.
Schedule: Variable Monday through Friday
Anticipated Hours: 10-40 hours per week, as needed by the facility.
Assignment Duration: 90 days
Location: Corner of Sunset and Vermont in Los Angeles
Job DescriptionsThe Medical Assistant (MA) Verifies patient information by interviewing patient; recording medical history; confirming purpose of visit. Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; reporting patient history summary. This particular role will be with opthlamology and experience in the same specialty is preferred. Requirements
- 2 years of experience as an MA within the last 3 years
- Basic Life Support Certification from American Heart Association
- Medical Assistant Certificate
