Rehabilitation Registered Nurse
The goal of rehabilitation nursing is to assist individuals with disabilities and chronic illnesses to attain and maintain maximum function. The rehabilitation staff nurse designs and implements treatment strategies that are based on scientific nursing theory related to self-care and that promote physical, psycho-social, and spiritual health, while working in inpatient and outpatient settings that can be found in a range of acute to sub-acute rehabilitation facilities.
Requirements
- 1 year of med-surge care experience within the past 3 years
- BLS and may require ACLS depending on facility
- Relevant State Nursing License
