Rehabilitation Registered Nurse
The nurse may provide direct care or supervise the activities of support staff to prevent complications and maintain functions such as the ability to move, eat or perform daily living tasks. A rehabilitation nurse may help a patient exercise, provide proper skin care to prevent skin breakdown and ensure patients are properly positioned to prevent joints from becoming immobile. Injuries and illness may also cause changes in respiratory, bowel or bladder function. In addition to helping prevent complications, the rehabilitation nurse will teach the patient how to self-manage these conditions.

- Valid state nursing license
