Psychiatric/Mental Health- Certified Nursing Aide
The role of the psych/mental health certified nurse aide (CNA) will be to assist mentally impaired or emotionally disturbed patients, working under direction of nursing and medical staff. CNAs may assist with daily living activities, lead patients in educational and recreational activities, or accompany patient top and from examinations and treatments. May retrain violent patients. Nursefinders of West Texas is currently seeking Psych/Mental Health CNAs to work within a psychiatric hospital in Lubbock, TX. Please call 806-799-4868 for more information.
- At least 1 year of experience in a psychiatric setting within the past 3 years.
- BLS Certification
- Current Texas CNA Certification.
- Recent physical or physician statement stating that applicant is in good physical and mental health.
- SAMA certification training course- will be provided after hire.
