Kathleen Gilmartin, BSN, joins Nursefinders, Inc. in the newly created position of COO Patient Care Services, according to Nursefinders CEO Bob Livonius. In this field-based position, she will be responsible for all Patient Care operations nationwide and will assist with business development of local, regional and national accounts.
“Kathleen values the importance of quality in the market, shares our discipline for compliance and is recognized for her integrity and work ethic,” said Livonius. “My experience working with Kathleen gives me great confidence that she will be an asset to our field organization.”
Gilmartin’s extensive background in home health care includes managing operations for home care and staffing. As COO of Interim Healthcare she developed and implemented compliance standards across their network of 250 offices.
“This is an important step in further focusing the roles of leaders within the executive team,” said Livonius. “By creating this new COO position Nursefinders continues to separate our Patient Care Services from those of our Staffing operations,” he said.
Having served on Nursefinders Board of Directors since July 2003, Gilmartin is already familiar with the company and has participated in special task forces for them. She has also been a consultant in the industry and a board member of an international nurse recruitment company. Most recently she added nursing education responsibilities as a clinical professor at a community college in Florida.
