A Timeline of Nursefinders History

1974

Nursefinders founded in Texas as a per diem nurse staffing provider.

1986

Nursefinders is purchased by staffing firm Adia S.A., based in Switzerland.

1989

Nursefinders adds home care services to its menu of staffing capabilities.

Nursefinders establishes Performance Club to reward its top performers.

1992

Adia combines Nursefinders with other U.S.-based operations to form Personnel Group of America (PGA).

1994

Nursefinders order process becomes automated with an electronic staffing system.

1995

Under an IPO, Nursefinders becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of PGA, which expands its commercial staffing services to include healthcare.

1998

Nursefinders is acquired in a management buyout led by Atlantic Medical Capital, L.P., a private investment company specializing in healthcare companies.

1999

Nursefinders celebrates 25 years as one of the leading healthcare staffing companies.

2001

Nursefinders introduces innovative online hiring system available at www.nursefinders.com.

2002

Nursefinders teams up with the largest California healthcare system to provide services.

2003

Visionary industry executive Robert Livonius joins Nursefinders as CEO.

Company launches Nursefinders Workforce Solutions™ for large users of staffing services.

2004

Nursefinders celebrates 30 year anniversary and establishes its Caregiver’s Creed.

Denise Deans-Graf joins Nursefinders in newly created position of COO, Staffing Division

Nursefinders is purchased by reputable private equity firm, Gryphon Investors, in partnership with former Nursefinders CEO Ray Marcy and current CEO Robert Livonius.

2005

Nursefinders executive management team grows with addition of Patrick J. McColpin as CFO.

Kathleen Gilmartin, BSN, joins Nursefinders in newly created position of COO, Patient Care Services.

Nursefinders, Inc. expands into physician recruiting with the acquisition of Linde Healthcare and Kendall & Davis.

2006

Nursefinders, Inc. expands its allied health staffing capabilities with the acquisition of specialty provider Club Staffing.

2007

An investment group that includes the Goldman Sachs Urban Investment Group, a private equity initiative within The Goldman Sachs Group, Inc. (NYSE:GS), Pharos Capital Group, LLC and Haas Wheat & Partners acquired Nursefinders Inc. National Healthcare Staffing (NHS) a travel nurse staffing leader and an existing Goldman Sachs portfolio company also joined the Nursefinders family.
