It prides itself on quality customer service and ensuring employee satisfaction through constant communication. The company establishes a personal relationship with each caregiver to understand the employee’s career goals and lifestyle interests. Nursefinders offers its healthcare professionals a full range of employment opportunities including a benefits package, educational assistance and more.

Since 1974, Nursefinders has placed more than 3.5 million nurses in more than 10 million shifts and 32 million home care visits.

History:

Nursefinders was founded in September 1974 to provide per diem nurse staffing services. The original vision of the company — to provide the highest quality nurses — remains true today but with a broader spectrum of healthcare professionals. In 1986, Nursefinders was purchased by Adia , S.A. , a specialized staffing company in Switzerland . In 1989, the company added home care to its delivery of services.

In 1992, Adia combined Nursefinders with other U.S.-based operations to form Personnel Group of America (PGA), whose services included commercial staffing. In 1998, Nursefinders was acquired by a group of investors led by Atlantic Medical Capital, L.P., a private investment company specializing in healthcare companies. As PGA had recently changed its focus to IT-oriented staffing businesses, the new ownership aligned more closely with Nursefinders’ core business.

In 2004, Gryphon Investors, a San Francisco-based private equity firm, along with Nursefinders’ former CEO Ray Marcy and current CEO Bob Livonius, purchased Nursefinders, because they saw a strong future for medical staffing and home care. Ray Marcy, a legend in the staffing industry, served as CEO of Spherion from 1991-2001, steering that company from sales of under $600 million to nearly $4 billion.

Mission Statement:

Nursefinders provides quality comprehensive personnel management solutions, rewarding career opportunities and superior healthcare services to its clients in a respectful and efficient manner.
